Hotel Porto Roca - Monterosso al mare - Cinque Terre

Reaching Hotel Porto Roca is simple for our customers because we offer, included in the price of the room, transfer from the railway station or car park. The hotel is located in the pedestrian area with limited traffic. From March to November in Monterosso private cars cannot circulate, only by public transport is allowed. This makes Monterosso much more comfortable for the foot traffic of tourists, but can also be a bit of a discomfort when unprepared for transport upon arrival. This is no problem for our clients, simply call us upon arrival and within minutes a taxi will come to take you to the hotel. Monterosso has two parking lots, one at the beginning of the restricted traffic in old town and the other at the beginning of restricted traffic in Fegina. Both options are more or less equally distant form the hotel. We recommend that you use to the "Parking Fegina", where a larger space for your car is always guaranteed. The cost is about € 13/12 per day. There are also special weekly or monthly rates.

Directions by car:
Exit the motorway at CARRODANO-LEVANTO (on the A12 Genoa-Livorno). Follow the signs to Levanto and Monterosso. After Levanto follow towards Monterosso, the road leads up the hill, reaches the top and passes through a short tunnel, continue straight and after a few meters there will be a fork in the road, stay right to Monterosso Fegina. After 5 km down a windy road you reach the village. When you arrive in front of you the sea you are at the paid public car park. Once parked or just before you may phone us at 0187.817502. We will send a taxi to get you to the hotel quickly and comfortably (included in room price).

Arriving by train:
Once you have arrived at the station you can call us. You may also inform us in advance of your train's arrival time and we will book transfer to the hotel (included in room price). For those wishing to walk in any case here are the particulars: Outside the station looking at the sea turn left and walk along the seafront for about 300 meters then trough the tunnel. Once you exit the tunnel, look up and you shall see the sign and Hotel Porta Roca nestled in the cliff, follow along the seaside and up the path to the hotel.
